Brian O’Hagan (Co-Founder & Project Manager)


Brian is father of James who has Cerebral Palsy. Brian is also a freelance fundraising consultant who specialises in working with small to medium sized charities. He has an MA in Sociology & Politics from the University of Sussex and is an occasional writer on charity issues.

Sophie Spearman (Co-Founder & Chair)


Sophie is mother of Daisy and Ethan who has Autism. She is founder of SPACE, a support group for parents of children with Autism and a Parent Governor of Palatine Road Primary School, Worthing. Sophie is studying for an Open University BSc (Hons) in Psychology with the view to post-graduate study in special educational needs.

Nick Dry, BSc (Hons), NPQH


Nick is the Head Teacher of Palatine Road Primary School a generic special needs school covering the Worthing and Littlehampton area. He was formerly acting head of two special needs schools in London and Brighton and prior to that spent 8 years as an SEN Advisor for Brighton & Hove.

 

Seb Tresize

Seb is a disability awareness trainer for local partners, Enable Me. He was born with Spina Bifida and has been a wheelchair user since the age of 10. Seb is also ranked 2nd in Great Britain at the Discus and hopes to compete in the 2012 Paralympics.

Angela Watt (Secretary)


Angela Watt has three daughters Isabelle, Lily and Olivia who has Rubinstein-Tabi Syndrome (RTS). She is a Committee Member of the RTS UK Group and is the Administrator for the West Sussex Parents Forum. Angela has attended the Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Therapies at Northbrook College and has been volunteering with Arun Counselling Centre in Littlehampton since 2008.
